Monte Sereno Building and Remodeling Information
With a total area of just under 1.6 square miles and a population of around 4000, the City of Monte Sereno shares a number of public services with the Town of Los Gatos. Monte Sereno does have its own requirements for new home construction and home remodeling, however. Similar to other Silicon Valley communities, the City incorporated in the mid-fifties to retain its semi-rural character.
One of our favorite home remodeling porjects in Monte Sereno was a stunning adobe home. We added open beam ceilings, indoor/outdoor flagstone enhanced by a NanaWall sliding door, and a kitchen with vertical grain fir custom cabinetry. No photos on our website though, that was before we started taking good photos of our projects.
