Green Building in Mountain View
The City of Mountain View Enviornmental Sustainability Program offers a number of resources on their website. As of 2011, the City has green building requirements for projects with multiple residential units or multi-family units. However, although there are green-building recommendations for single-family residential construction or remodeling projects, there do not appear to be any city-specific requrements for these projects.
Construction Hours in Mountain View
The City of Mountain View Civil Code allows construction noise from 7:00 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Construction noise is not permitted on weekends or City of Mountain View Holidays: Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, the day after Christmas, New Year's, Martin Luther King, Jr., President's Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. The list of City Holidays is subject to change. |
