Stanford Building and Remodeling Information
With a population of about 14,000 people and an area over 8000 acres, Stanford is surrounded by Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Portola Valley. Since about half of Stanford’s land is in unincorporated Santa Clara County, Stanford home remodeling and construction projects are managed by the county. The county even has a building inspection office on campus. Special attention is given to Stanford’s cultural and historical heritage.
