Custom Home Menlo Park
This new custom home in Menlo Park was built by Bay Area green home builder Bill Fry and designed by architect Steve Simpson of SDG Architects.
This Menlo Park custom home design epitomizes values presented by Sarah Susanka “a house that values quality over quantity and that emphasizes comfort, beauty, and a high level of detail.” Our artisanal quality and bespoke attention to detail are evident from the natural stone exterior, which extends into the entry, stairwell, and other areas of the home. The hand-forged ironwork railing was created by a Bay Area blacksmith. Our master carpenters and cabinetmakers crafted and installed our exclusive custom cabinetry.
Green building features include sustainable cradle-to-cradle materials and strategies for good indoor air quality (IAQ): standing seam metal roof, energy recovery ventilating fan, radiant heat, central vacuum, formaldehyde-free (NAUF) wood materials that exceed the California Air Resources Board standards, Benjamin Moore Aura no VOC paint, wood flooring, and stone and tile floors.
