Kitchen Remodel Menlo Park

This Menlo Park kitchen remodel has cherry custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and a granite backsplash with inlaid tile. The custom kitchen island and granite countertop are slightly darker to provide interest.

This kitchen maximizes the space available with its functional kitchen island cabinetry that comfortably seats a family of four. The corners of the island are cut on an angle. As required by the California Building Code, the kitchen island has two convenient outlets for computer or small appliances.

A centralized enlarged skylight well with lighting over the kitchen island provides ample illumination day or night.

This modest kitchen has all of the features of larger ones without looking overcrowded: floor to ceiling built-in pantry; wine refrigerator, built-in microwave; niche for a Bose wave radio stereo music system; and cookbook shelf. A photograph of the haf-bath update is also shown.
