This bright Palo Alto Eicher style home remodel retained some of the original structure and some of the mid-century modern design aesthetic while using a number of strategies to bring in more light: barrel vaulted ceilings in the kitchen; tunnel vaulted ceiling in the entry; glass block for privacy in the entry ;skylight windows in the living room; wall of glass doors and windows; clerestory windows throughout. Notice the curved asymmetrical kitchen island and standing seam metal roof.
