Whole House Remodel

This Bay Area whole house remodel is actually a duplex. Instead of building an in-law unit, our client decided to buy a duplex and refurbish both sides, one for one family and the other for in-law quarters.

We made structural changes to open up the floor plans; replaced wall heaters with a modern heating system; and installed energy-efficient windows. We were able to save the original oak hardwood flooring and weave in new oak boards where needed.

The cheery teal kitchens have shaker-style cabinetry and Caesarstone quartz countertops.

The blue and white bathrooms have radiant heat for warm feet, fixed glass block windows, subway tile, recycled glass mosaic tiles, and as with most of our projects, a big shower niche.

The new rear deck, which is shared between the two remodeled homes, has a wheelchair ramp and a grab bar.
