The quarter-sawn oak hardwood flooring in a herringbone pattern with a walnut border installed 25 years ago has been brought back to its original luster. Between the granite countertop and crema marfil backsplash, an aluminum edging adds interest. This Silicon Valley kitchen design offers accessibility features such as a foot pedal to open the garbage cabinet, a pullout spice shelf, and a Hafele magic corner.
