Los Altos Kitchen Design

This Los Altos kitchen design, from kitchen layout to custom cabinetry finish, was created by our in-house kitchen design build team. These built-to-order cabinets are true custom cabinets without seams found in semi-custom cabinetry. The kitchen lighting design creates many lighting options: indirect lighting, provided by energy-efficient LED lights above the kitchen cabinets, showcases the crown moulding and high kitchen ceiling. The diagonal white tile backslpash with a narrow accent strip comes from All Natural Stone Granite & Fine Tile. The pot filler faucet above the Wolf stove is framed with granite. The large kitchen island with seating on two sides is illuminated by an immense skylight. Interior steel reinforcement eliminates the need for external supports which can interfere with bar stools. The underside of the counter has the same fine furniture finish as more visible areas in this Los Altos custom kitchen remodel. The kitchen island design includes a Sub-Zero wine storage unit, a prep sink, ample storage space, and a shallow spice cabinet with a natural maple finish interior. The casework of this eco-friendly cabinetry is made of Columbia Forest Products PureBond, a formaldehyde-free hardwood plywood.
